Program Pricing

Fees for the entire 6-month Rapid Growth Program comes to a total of $13,200 USD per startup (up to 3 members of a startup can attend).

The program is divided into 2 PhasesPhase 1 Boot Camp is $3,200 USD; and Phase 2 Acceleration is $10,000 USD. Participation in both Phases is not mandatory. You may opt to participate in only Phase 1, if you wish.

There are several ways to get the program fees paid for:

  • Receive a sponsorship / grant from your regional or national government. Contact us to learn more.
  • Self-fund
  • Through our global partners. We are currently speaking with several global partners to help in raising funds to subsidize a limited amount of scholarships.

USAID Economic Security Program in Georgia, implemented by DAI, will support Georgia’s five highest-quality women-owned and women-led startups from the priority sectors (more info below), for the full 6-month program.

One women-led startup will be supported for Phase 1 by the UN Women (the UN Women project “A Joint Action for Women’s Economic Empowerment in Georgia”, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway).

Business and Technology University (BTU) and its Entrepreneurship Center will fund the participation in the Phase 1 for one women-led startup; and will provide an additional package of legal, financial, design and technical services.

Program is open to women-identifying entrepreneurs from Georgia that comply with the following criteria:

  • Team size must be fewer than 20 people
  • Applicant must be either a female founder or owner of the company
  • Stage of growth: R&D stage; MVP-stage, or early customer stage
  • Must possess some industry/market validation from academia, direct customers or large corporations/institutions
  • All industry sectors will be considered
  • Must be established or incorporated less than 3 years ago

We are happy to announce that the USAID Economic Security Program in Georgia, implemented by DAI, will support Georgia’s 5 highest-quality women-owned and women-led startups from the following priority sectors:

  • Tourism (gastronomic, adventure and culture tourism)
  • Creative industries (production media, post-production, and high-end artisan products)
  • Light manufacturing (packaging and furniture manufacturing, toys, personal protective equipment (PPE), and construction
    materials)
  • Shared intellectual services (business process outsourcing [(BPO]);
  • Solid waste management

In addition to these five sectors, the Program supports startups from the cross-cutting sectors of ICT and e-commerce as well.

At least one startup founder has to be Georgian citizen and by the time the program starts, they need to be registered (incorporated) on rs.ge.

 

The USAID Economic Security Program is committed to diversity and promotes a culture of equity and inclusion, thus it encourages young females (under age 30), ethnic, and religious minority girls and women, women and girls with disability, Internally displaced girls and women, girls and women from regions of Georgia, and girls and women from other diverse backgrounds to apply for GWIT Program.

• You don’t have to miss out on anything, because of the current travel situation! Sessions will be conducted online via ZOOM to coincide with respective time zones.

Step 1: Each innovator must apply via application form on the GWIT F6S page

Step 2: Applications will be assessed based on individual merit. We are seeking new, and big ideas that will make a meaningful impact in a specific market or in society at large. Your application will be reviewed by representatives of the US Market Access Center and /or industry experts based in Silicon Valley, California.

We are happy to announce that:

Step 3: Applications are accepted until December 1, 2020.

Step 4: Announcement of shortlisted startups will happen on December 4, 2020. Pitching Workshop is on December 7 and Participants Selection: Pitch Competition with Silicon Valley Investors – organized with Startup Grind Event will happen on December 10th.

The Application Submission Deadline is December 1, 2020 with Announcement of the Shortlisted Startups on December 4, the Pitch Competition with Silicon Valley investors and co-organized with Startup Grind, is on December 10, and the Start of a Program is on February 1st, 2021.
